近期，深圳英国威廉希尔公司英国威廉希尔公司刘连柱等同学（指导教师:杨震教授、李闯创副教授）的研究论文《Asymmetric Total Synthesis of Caribenol A》发表在国际顶尖化学杂志美国化学会会刊《Journal of the American Chemical Society》上(影响因子8.58)。由于该研究的重要性，《自然》杂志化学子刊《Nature Chemistry》将该论文作为合成有机化学领域的重点推荐。该研究以分子内Diels-Alder反应和内酯氧化羟基化反应作为关键步骤完成了Caribenol A的首次不对称全合成。
